A quick intro
Riverside Adventures Waikato took over the bike shop at the Velodrome recently. For those who have been here before, not too much is changing, we're just reinventing a few things & finding our feet. Mike is still around for the workshop side of things and we are offering a smaller retail offering.
Services at RAW
As well as providing our range of bikes, parts and accessories, we now have bikes and e-bikes available for rent, as well as shuttle transfers on the Te Awa River Ride!
We service all the bike trails in the region (Waikato River Trails, Hauraki Rail Trail, TImber Trail and Te Awa River Ride). You can also book kayak and combo tours and build packages to suit groups.
Our History
Riverside Adventures Waikato has been operating for the past 10 years at the southern end of Lake Karapiro, just down the road from the Waikato River Trails.
We offer bike and kayak hire, twilight glow worm tours, guided bike tours, multi-day packages and shuttle transfers to and from the activities. What started as a small family owned and operated business has now grown into a mighty team of epic people!
